Nolan and Jayme started their business in 2006. Nolan grew up learning framing from his dad, so that was a natural starting place for him. Through the Great Recession he branched out into remodeling and tile work. He then began building homes in 2012 after being mentored by one of Salem’s premier builders.
It wasn’t long before Jayme’s natural knack for conceptualizing beautiful spaces began to change the narrative of the business. Her love for color and pattern, as well as her years of experience styling furniture and guiding customers while managing a local Pier 1, led to the beginning of Fridley Custom Homes.
As a builder/designer duo, Nolan & Jayme work together to offer a seamless home building experience that connects your story with your style. They recognize the importance of the builder/home buyer relationship and are committed to the high level of service provided to each client.

+ Nolan Fridley, Owner / Builder
Nolan Fridley is a builder and the founder of Fridley Custom Homes. He grew up learning framing from his dad, which became a natural starting place for his career. During the Great Recession, he branched out into remodeling and tile work. He began building homes in 2012, after being mentored by one of Salem’s premier builders. Nolan has a high value for quality construction practices and customer satisfaction. Nolan loves partnering with his wife, Jayme, and raising their four kids together.
+ Jayme Fridley, Lead Designer
Jayme Fridley is our Lead Designer and detail-enthusiast at FCH. Once Nolan began building homes, Jayme’s natural knack for dreaming up beautiful spaces began to change the narrative of the business. Her love for color and pattern, as well as her unique ability to make any space feel like home, led to what is now known as Fridley Custom Homes. Between mood boards and meetings, Jayme wears many hats and loves being a mom above all else.
+ Joe Fridley, Lead Foreman / Project Manager
Joe Fridley is not only Nolan’s dad, but our Lead Foreman and Project Manager. He has been in the trades for 30+ years - starting out in southern California as a framer and working his way up the West coast. He started his framing business in Washington and moved to Oregon to join the FCH team. Joe knows construction like the back of his hand and is an expert at running a job site. When he is not on a job, you will find him hitting a bucket of balls at the golf course or tending to his pepper garden.
+ Michael Sanders, Foreman
Michael Sanders joined the team in 2017 as a Foreman/Project Manager and has been helping to keep our jobs running smoothly ever since. Born and raised in the Salem-area, Michael is deeply connected to his community and is willing to jump in and help wherever he can. He’s our go-to guy to take care of all the hands-on details needed to keep jobs moving and up to our high standards. Outside of work, Michael spends his time with his wife and three young boys, as well as serving the youth group at church.
+ Holly Potloff, Office Manager
Holly Potloff is our Office Manager / Jr. Designer, and she also happens to be Nolan and Jayme’s sister-in-law! Holly is the Queen of Organization and helps keep our office running efficiently. Although she works behind the scenes, the impact of her work shows up in all areas of the business. Aside from keeping up the administrative end of the business, Holly has a natural eye for design and assists Jayme with input, styling and staging projects. Holly juggles work with raising her three kids and serving couples in her church alongside her husband, Pete.
+ Sarah Fridley, Executive Assistant
Fridley Custom Homes is a family business at heart, so when Nolan needed an assistant, his youngest sister Sarah was a natural ask. Although she lives and works remotely in Seattle, Sarah is Nolan’s right-hand and fields much of the communication coming in and out of the company. She loves all things orderly and enjoys finding new ways to streamline the customer experience.
